Born on July 6, 1966, in Isoko, Delta State, Evi Edna Ogholi is widely celebrated as Nigeria's "Queen of Reggae" and the "Isoko music queen". Raised in the household of a reverend, her musical journey began singing in the church choir. She burst onto the national scene with her debut album, My Kind of Music , released in 1987.
