The DASS-280 was first introduced in 1995 by Dr. Peter Lovibond and Dr. Sydney Lovibond, as a revision of the original DASS-21 questionnaire. The developers aimed to create a more comprehensive and sensitive measure of negative emotional states, which could be used in both research and clinical settings. The DASS-280 consists of 280 items, divided into three subscales: Depression, Anxiety, and Stress.
