For the newer Modern Warfare 3 (2023) on Battle.net, the process is different: the Battle.net App. Select Call of Duty . Click the Gear Icon (Settings) next to the Play button. A safe English pack will be named something like MW3_English_Pack.7z (size ~200MB for text, or ~1.2GB for full audio). If you see a file named MW3_English_Setup.exe that is under 5MB – delete it immediately – that is a virus.
