What are you currently running your camera software on?
Ensure the host computer has a static internal IP address within your local network (e.g., 192.168.1.50 ). This prevents your router from assigning a new address upon restarting.
To make your webcam accessible from outside your local network, you'll need to set up port forwarding on your router for port 8080 (and potentially 8081 for streaming). This directs external traffic to your WebcamXP server.
