Canon provides two primary methods for updating the iR 2425: (from the printer itself) or Via a Computer (using the User Support Tool). Choose the method that best fits your office environment.
: You cannot perform a firmware update if your network is using IPv6. To resolve this, establish a connection between the machine and your computer using a USB cable and proceed with the computer-based update method (Method 2).
