Redcap Med Cmu Exclusive Link

Studies examining how residents protect themselves from PM 2.5 pollution in Chiang Mai.

Projects are not indefinite. Users must specify a requested period for data collection. The system will send automated email reminders . PIs can request a project extension by filling out a "Data Governance Extend Form" linked in the reminder email. After data collection is complete, the PI should mark the project as "Completed." The research administration staff will then archive the project's metadata and data dictionary to the faculty's central Data Catalog ( data.med.cmu.ac.th ) for long-term discoverability. If a project expires and no renewal request is submitted within 90 days , the administration will permanently delete the project data.

Typically via the institutional URL (e.g., redcap.med.cmu.ac.th ). Login uses CMU's central authentication system (CMU ITSC account). For setup, researchers should contact the Medical Research Support Unit or the Faculty of Medicine’s Data Management Center .

Only faculty and staff of the CMU Faculty of Medicine have the rights to create new REDCap projects. The process is as follows:

“Initial project setup can be time-consuming for complex instruments. The reporting module is basic; we often export to R or Stata for advanced analytics.”

By utilizing REDCap, CMU researchers can improve the efficiency and accuracy of their research data management, while also ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and university policies."
